If you are buying

Read the licence before you pay. The licence named on the listing is the whole of what you are buying — a commercial licence is not an extended one, and neither transfers ownership. If the scope is unclear, ask in the deal chat so the answer is on the record.
Test everything before you confirm delivery. Confirming releases the money and closes the escrow. If the files are incomplete, do not match the listing, or the licence differs from what was advertised, open a dispute instead of confirming.
Keep the invoice and the deal chat. They are your evidence of what was promised, what was delivered, and on what terms.
You may use what you bought under the stated licence. You may not resell, redistribute or relist the asset itself, or pass it to another party as your own work, unless you bought exclusive rights.

If you are selling

You must be the author, or hold a written licence that permits resale. Attesar verifies who you are, not what you own — if a rights-holder proves otherwise, the listing is removed, the sale is reversed, and repeat cases end the account.
Describe exactly what is included and what is not. Most disputes here are not fraud; they are a buyer who expected the demo content, the fonts, or the support that was never actually part of the package.
Keep your proof of ownership. Source files, commit history, purchase receipts for anything third-party, and the licences that let you redistribute it. You may be asked for them, and having them ready is what turns a complaint into a closed ticket.
Set the licence deliberately. It is what the buyer is paying for, and it binds you as much as them — an exclusive sale means you stop selling that item to anyone else.

What goes wrong specifically with invoicing & accounting

Invoice formats are legally prescribed

Buyer: Tax documents have mandatory content in most countries — a GST invoice in India and a VAT invoice in the EU each require specific fields. A template is not automatically compliant, and using a non-compliant one can cost you input credit. Have your accountant confirm the format.
Seller: State which country's rules the format follows and when you last checked it. Do not describe a template as tax-compliant or as approved by any tax authority.

A model is a calculator, not a forecast

Buyer: Outputs are only as sound as the assumptions you feed in. Nothing sold here is investment, tax, accounting or valuation advice, and no result should be relied on for a funding, lending or investment decision without a qualified professional reviewing the workings.
Seller: Sell the model, not the outcome. Do not promise returns, valuations, funding or approval rates. Do not present projections as forecasts. Do not offer personalised investment advice — that is a regulated activity in most countries and is not permitted here.
